RESOLUTION NO. R21-111 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF AN AWARD UNDER THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 PATRICK LEAHY BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP SOLICITATION THROUGH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS, BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $4,130.39 ON BEHALF OF THE GLENDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale hereby accepts the award under the fiscal year 2021 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership solicitation through the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance in the approximate amount of $4,130.39 on behalf of the Glendale Police Department. SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the grant award. SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary for the acceptance and expenditure of this grant award.
