ORDINANCE NO. O22-04
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING
THE
EXECUTION
OF
TWO
POWER
DISTRIBUTION EASEMENTS IN FAVOR OF SALT RIVER
PROJECT AGRICULTURAL IMPROVEMENT AND POWER
DISTRICT AT HEROES REGIONAL PARK LAKE LOCATED
AT 6075 NORTH 83RD AVENUE AND DIRECTING THE CITY
CLERK TO RECORD A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City is currently constructing a lake and associated amenities at Heroes
Regional Park located at 6075 North 83rd Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (SRP) will
construct new facilities on City property at Heroes Regional Park to support the new
improvements; and
WHEREAS, SRP’S facilities are depicted in the attached maps and legally described in
the exhibits denoted as “Exhibit A”; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the new utility easements on City property
would be in the public interest and benefit the citizens of Glendale by supporting the
improvement of Heroes Regional Park Lake.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes granting the Power Distribution
Easements, attached hereto as Attachments 1 and 2, and directs the City Manager to execute said
easements on behalf of the City.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is instructed and authorized to forward a certified copy
of this ordinance for recording to the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office.

SECTION 3. That the provisions of this ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
after passage of this ordinance by the Glendale City Council.
