A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF
AN AWARD (NO. 15PBJA-21-GG-04281-VTCX) UNDER THE 
FISCAL YEAR 2021 ADULT DRUG COURT AND VETERANS
TREATMENT COURT DISCRETIONARY GRANT PROGRAM
THROUGH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF 
JUSTICE, OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS, BUREAU OF 
JUSTICE ASSISTANCE IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT 
OF $197,235 ON BEHALF OF THE GLENDALE CITY COURT. 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1.  That the City Council of the City of Glendale hereby accepts the award 
(No. 15PBJA-21-GG-04281-VTCX) under the Fiscal Year 2021 Adult Drug Court and Veterans 
Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program through the United States Department of Justice, 
Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance in the approximate amount of $197,235
on behalf of the Glendale City Court. The grant documents are now on file in the office of the 
City Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2.  That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the 
grant award.
SECTION 3.  That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk are authorized and 
directed to execute all documents necessary for the acceptance and expenditure of this grant 
award. 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of 
Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 8th day of March, 2022.
