A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, RATIFYING
THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN AWARD (#15JCOPS-22-GG-01460-
TECP) FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OFFICE
OF COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES (COPS)
IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $715,000 UNDER THE
FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ENTITLED “2022 FY 2022 COPS
TECHNOLOGY
AND
EQUIPMENT
PROGRAM
INVITATIONAL SOLICITATION” ON BEHALF OF THE
GLENDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale ratifies the acceptance of an
award (#15JCOPS-22-GG-01460-TECP) under the “2022 FY 2022 COPS Technology and
Equipment Program Invitational Solicitation” in the amount of $715,000 from the U.S. Department
of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services on behalf of the Glendale Police
Department. The grant documents are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the
grant award for equipment costs involved with the project titled, “Glendale PD Mobile Command
Center.”
SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute any and all documents necessary on behalf of the City of Glendale, retroactive
to October 10, 2022.
