A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
A
CONTRACT
AMENDMENT
NO.
1
TO
AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
PHOENIX (GRANT NO. AZ-2020-040, AZ-2020-051, AND AZ-
2020-052) FOR ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF PASS-
THROUGH
GRANT
FUNDING
FOR
OPERATING
ASSISTANCE FOR TRANSIT SERVICES.
WHEREAS, on October 13, 2020, City Council previously approved the entering into of
an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Phoenix (Grant No. AZ-2020-040, AZ-2020-
042, AZ-2020-051, and AZ-2020-52-00) (C20-0933) for acceptance and expenditure of federal
pass-through grant funding for funding GUS and Dial-A-Ride Bus purchases and providing
reimbursement for preventative maintenance expenses.
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Phoenix wish to further amend said
Intergovernmental Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens
thereof that Contract Amendment No. 1 (C20-0933-1) to the Intergovernmental Agreement
between the City of Phoenix and the City of Glendale for Federal Award Identification Number
(FAIN) numbers AZ-2020-040, AZ-2020-051, and AZ-2020-052 be entered into, which
agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
