A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF 
A 
CONTRACT 
AMENDMENT 
NO. 
2 
TO 
AN 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF 
PHOENIX (GRANT NO. AZ-2018-001-00 AND AZ-2018-009-00) 
FOR 
ACCEPTANCE 
AND 
EXPENDITURE 
OF 
PASS-
THROUGH GRANT FUNDING FOR TRANSIT SERVICES.  
 
WHEREAS, on May 22, 2018, City Council previously approved the entering into of an 
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Phoenix (Grant No. AZ-2018-001-00 AND AZ-
2018-009-00) (C18-0452) for acceptance and expenditure of federal pass-through grant funding 
for replacement transit buses, preventative maintenance, and ADA services; and 
 
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2020, City Council approved the entering of  Contract Change 
Order No. 1 (C18-0452-1) to the said Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Glendale and 
the City of Phoenix.  
 
WHEREAS, on April 13, 2021, City Council approved the entering of  Contract 
Amendment No. 1 (C18-0452-2) to the said Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of 
Glendale and the City of Phoenix.  
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Phoenix wish to further amend said 
Intergovernmental Agreement.  
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that Contract Amendment No. 2 (C18-0452-3) to the Intergovernmental Agreement with 
the City of Phoenix for Grant Pass-Through funding for public transit services in the City of 
Glendale be entered into, which said agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the 
City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute, file, and deliver said Contract Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the City of 
Glendale.
