A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF 
A 
CONTRACT 
AMENDMENT 
NO. 
2 
TO 
AN 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF 
PHOENIX (FAIN NO. AZ-2019-038, AZ-2020-008, AND AZ-
2020-009) FOR ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF 
FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION GRANT FUNDING 
FOR TRANSIT SERVICES. 
 
WHEREAS, on April 14, 2020, City Council previously approved the entering into of an 
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Phoenix (FAIN No. AZ-2019-038, AZ-2020-008, 
and AZ-2020-009) (C20-0344) for acceptance and expenditure of FTA pass-through grant funding 
for transit security, GUS Bus replacement and preventative maintenance, for operating assistance 
and vouchers for public transportation, and authorizing a local match;  
 
WHEREAS, on April 13, 2021, City Council approved the entering of  Contract 
Amendment  No. 1 (C20-0344-2) to the said Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of 
Glendale and the City of Phoenix; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Phoenix wish to further amend said 
Intergovernmental Agreement.  
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that Contract Amendment No. 2 (C20-0344-1) to the Intergovernmental Agreement with 
the City of Phoenix (FAIN No. AZ-2019-038, AZ-2020-008, and AZ-2020-009) for Grant Pass-
Through funding for public transit services in the City of Glendale be entered into, which 
agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale.  
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed 
to execute and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
