RESOLUTION NO. R23-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
GLENDALE MUNICIPAL COURT AND THE VETERANS
ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, the Veterans Administration wishes to house Veterans Justice Outreach
Workers at the Glendale Municipal Court to provide veterans support services and assistance with
Glendale’s veterans court; and
WHEREAS, the Glendale Municipal Court wishes to accept such workers and to provide
them with space; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to memorialize such arrangement in a memorandum of
understanding.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and its citizens
that the memorandum of understanding agreement between the Glendale Municipal Court and the
Veterans Administration is entered into, and the agreement is now on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
