RESOLUTION NO. R24-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH PEORIA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REGARDING A SECURITY PLAN AND SYSTEM PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes title 38, Chapter 3 the City Council was provided, discussed and consulted with staff the Memorandum of Understanding. SECTION 2. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens thereof that a Memorandum of Understanding be entered into with Peoria Unified School District related to security plans, procedures, assessments, measures or systems relating to, or having an impact on, the security or safety of public buildings and facilities. SECTION 3. That in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes title 38, Chapter 3 and title 39, chapter 1, the Memorandum of Understanding, records, documentation, notes, or other materials made by, or provided to the City Council related to the Memorandum of Understanding are confidential and exempt from public disclosure. SECTION 4. That the City Council authorizes and directs the City of Glendale Police Chief to execute and deliver all necessary documents on behalf of the City of Glendale concerning this Memorandum of Understanding.
