RESOLUTION NO. R24-20 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN AGREEMENT 
WITH BRYCER, LLC FOR A FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM 
INSPECTION, TEST, AND MAINTENANCE DATABASE 
AND FEE COLLECTION FOR THE CITY OF GLENDALE. 
 
WHEREAS, the inspection, test, and maintenance of fire protection systems is a critical 
component to protecting lives, reducing property loss and maintaining ISO ratings; and, 
 
WHEREAS, the Glendale Fire Department is a “paperless” organization and does not own, 
use, or maintain a fire protection system inspection, test, and maintenance tracking database; and, 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale has adopted the 2018 International Fire Code; and, 
 
WHEREAS, the 2018 International Fire Code (section 108.3) authorizes the fire code 
official to prescribe the form, method and format of collecting and maintaining fire protection 
system inspection, test and maintenance records.  
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes the City Manager to 
enter into an Agreement with Brycer, LLC. “The Compliance Engine” , on behalf of the Glendale 
Fire Department. Said agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of 
Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into said agreement on behalf of the 
City of Glendale.
