RESOLUTION NO. R24-11 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, DIRECTING 
AND ENTERING INTO A FACILITY USE AGREEMENT WITH 
GLENDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 40 FOR 
CITY OCCUPANCY AT THE SYSTEM OF CARE CENTER. 
 
WHEREAS, Glendale Elementary School District No. 40 owns and operates the System 
of Care Center located at 7677 W. Bethany Home Road, Glendale, AZ 85303 for the purpose of 
providing comprehensive, coordinated human services through interagency and partner 
collaborations to improve the social determinants of health for youth and families; and,  
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale Community Services Department currently provides 
human services and community engagement programs that are aligned to the goals and objectives 
of the System of Care Center; and, 
 
WHEREAS, the Glendale Elementary School District No. 40 desires to make Building E 
at the System of Care Center available for the exclusive use of the Community Services 
Department and the City of Glendale desires to relocate services to the campus.   
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that the Facility Use Agreement between the City of Glendale and the Glendale Elementary 
School District No. 40 be entered into, which agreement is now on file in the office of the City 
Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute 
and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.  
 
 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of 
Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 5th day of March, 2023.
