RESOLUTION NO. R24-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO
OF A CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY
(2022A004) FOR THE 103RD AVENUE LANDFILL
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2022, City council previously approved the entering into of an
Intergovernmental Agreement with the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCD
2022A004) (C22-0318), for financial assistance to the City to address the potential flooding and
drainage issues for the 103rd Avenue Landfill.
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County
wish to further amend said Intergovernmental Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the
citizens thereof that Contract Amendment No. 1 (C20-0318) to the Intergovernmental
Agreement with the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCD 2022A004) for the 103rd
Avenue Landfill Drainage Improvement Project, which agreement is now on file in the office of
the City Clerk for the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2.  That the Mayor or City Manager and the city Clerk be authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
