RESOLUTION NO. R24-47      
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF 
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE TO THE MEMORANDUM OF 
UNDERSTANDING WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF 
ADMINISTRATION 
TECHNOLOGY 
REGARDING 
GEOSPATIAL 
SUPPORT 
SERVICES 
FOR 
NEXT 
GENERATION 9-1-1 ON BEHALF OF THE GLENDALE 
POLICE DEPARTMENT. 
 
 
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted Resolution No. R23-81, which 
authorized and directed the entering into of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the 
Arizona Department of Administration Technology regarding geospatial support services for Next 
Generation 9-1-1; and 
 
 
WHEREAS, the initial term of the IGA commenced on October 10, 2023, and ends on June 
30, 2024; and  
 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the Arizona Department of Administration 
Technology wish to extend the term date to cover a three-year life cycle, from July 1, 2024, through 
June 30, 2027. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
to enter into Amendment No. 1 to the MOU between the City of Glendale and the Arizona 
Department of Administration Technology, which agreement is now on file in the office of the 
City Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute all documents necessary on behalf of the City of Glendale.
