A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF A GRANT
AGREEMENT
(ADOA-AZ911-25-27)
WITH
ARIZONA
DEPARTMENT
OF
ADMINISTRATION
REGARDING
GEOSPATIAL
SUPPORT
SERVICES
FOR
NEXT
GENERATION 9-1-1 SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE
GLENDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens
to enter into Grant Agreement (ADOA-AZ911-2527) with Arizona Department of Administration
Technology and accept the Arizona Department of Administration Technology grant award in the
approximate amount of $552,686. The agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the city Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the
grant award for adoption and operation of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) services and
applications including but not limited to costs for equipment, network, maintenance, and hardware
and software support.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into, extend or amend the agreement,
and for acceptance and expenditure of the grant award on behalf of the City of Glendale.
