RESOLUTION NO. R24-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION OF LAND RIGHTS FOR
A UTILITY AND ACCESS EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION
OF
ANY
DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY
TO
COMPLETE SAID ACQUISITION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed necessary and essential for the City of Glendale to acquire an
easement to the following property described below:
B & GARY, LLC – the owner of property located at 6604 W. Olive
Avenue will convey 2 Utility and Access Easements, approximately
6,604 square feet of property. The owners will be compensated a total
of $50,000 for the easements.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager and the City Clerk be authorized and directed to
execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to acquire said real property on behalf of the
City of Glendale.
SECTION 3. That the duly authorized disbursing officers of the City of Glendale be
authorized and directed to pay all sums necessary to acquire said property in accordance with the
Purchase Agreement and escrow instructions, as well as recording fees and other costs necessary for
the acquisition of said property.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 13th day of August, 2024.
