RESOLUTION NO. R24-69
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, RATIFYING
THE ENTERING INTO OF AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF BUCKEYE FOR LAW
ENFORCEMENT, 
SECURITY, 
AND 
TRAFFIC
MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR EVENTS AT THE STATE
FARM STADIUM ON BEHALF OF THE GLENDALE POLICE
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2018, City Council approved the entering into an
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Buckeye C18-0513 for law enforcement, security,
and traffic management services for events at the State Farm Stadium on behalf the Glendale Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, on June 29, 2021, City Council approved the entering of Contract Amendment
No. 1 (C18-0513-1) to said Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Glendale and the City
of Buckeye; and
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Buckeye wish to further amend said
Intergovernmental Agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED THE COUNITY OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1.     The City Council of the City of Glendale hereby ratifies the entering into
an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Glendale and the City of Buckeye for law
enforcement, security, and traffic management services for events at the State Farm Stadium with
the renewal date effective July 1, 2024, which agreement is now on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2.     That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and
directed to execute all documents necessary on behalf of the City of Glendale.
