RESOLUTION NO. R24-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS (AGREEMENT NO. 24-EVCIPSP-GLN) FOR THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE SITING PLAN. WHEREAS, the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) approved the awarding of grant funding through the Highway User Revenue Fund (HURF) and the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBGP) to the City of Glendale to develop an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Siting Plan; and WHEREAS, the MAG will be responsible for 100% ($74,375) of the “Project.” BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens thereof to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement with the MAG to develop a siting plan identifying locations suitable to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure on City owned property. SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effectuate said Agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
