TIMELINE
May 28, 2024: Options were presented to the City Council with a consensus given to hold a public meeting.
July 9, 2024: Community Engagement Meeting held at the Foothills Library.
July 9-16, 2024: Online Survey 
August 12, 2024: Presented to Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and received a recommendation 
September 10, 2024: Seeking City Council Recommendation and Consensus to move forward with Option 1 or 
Option 2.
December 31, 2024: Funding must be encumbered.
December 31, 2026: Project must be completed.

LED upgrade existing park lighting and add additional 
lighting to pathways and ramadas

Upgrade to smart technology irrigation system

Replace the existing play and shade structures 
w/upgraded equipment

Remove existing sand volleyball court
