RESOLUTION NO. R24-103
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF AMENDMENT 
NO. 6 TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY 
ADMINISTERED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND CITY OF GLENDALE, 
CONCERNING THE HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME) PROGRAM. 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement Between 
Maricopa County Administered by its Human Services Department and the City of Glendale, 
concerning the City of Glendale's HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program to be 
effective on or about January 12, 2017 (C-11449); and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County entered into Amendment No. 1 
on or about March 8, 2018 (C-11449-1), amending the scope of work, funding, and term; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County entered into Amendment No. 2 
on or about March 27, 2019 (C-11449-2), amending the scope of work, funding, and term; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County entered into Amendment No. 3 
on or about October 14, 2019 (C-11449-3), amending the scope of work, funding, and term; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County entered into Amendment No. 4 
on or about April 21, 2021 (C-11449-4), amending the scope of work; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County entered into Amendment No. 5 
on or about April 11, 2023 (C-11449-5), amending the scope of work, funding, and term; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Maricopa County wish to modify the scope and 
increase funding to secure an additional $775,975.00 for HOME activities while also 
extending the term of the Agreement from September 30, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The 
total funding amount for the Agreement will be increased to $8,227,715.56. 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that Amendment No. 6 to the Intergovernmental Agreement Between Maricopa County 
Administered by its Human Services Department and the City of Glendale concerning the City of 
Glendale's HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program be entered into, which amendment 
is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
SECTION 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk are authorized and directed to 
execute and deliver all documents necessary to effectuate this commitment on behalf of the City 
of Glendale.
