RESOLUTION NO. R25-11 
  
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE 
FROM THE U.S.  
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 
ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT IN THE AMOUNT 
OF $2,352,477.15 ON BEHALF OF THE GLENDALE FIRE 
DEPARTMENT. 
  
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:  
  
SECTION 1.  That the City Council of the City of Glendale hereby accepts the Assistance 
to Firefighters Grant offer from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the amount of 
$2,352,477.15 on behalf of the Glendale Fire Department to provide officer level training to 
thirteen West Valley Fire Departments.  
  
 SECTION 2.  That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute 
any and all documents necessary for the acceptance of said grant on behalf of the City of Glendale.  
  
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
