ORDINANCE NO. O25-08
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AMENDING
THE GLENDALE CITY CODE, CHAPTER 26 (OFFENSES -
MISCELLANEOUS), SECTION 26-70.3 (USE OF FIREWORKS)
AND SETTING FORTH AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Glendale City Code Chapter 26 (Offenses - Miscellaneous), is
amended by adding provisions specifically related to the use of permissible fireworks under
Section 26-70.3 (Use of Fireworks) as follows;
CITY CODE CHAPTER 26
Sec. 26-70.3. - Use of fireworks.
(a) The use of permissible consumer fireworks within the city is prohibited except on May
4th through May 6th, June 24 through July 6, and December 24 through January 3 26
through January 4, and the second and third days of Diwali of each year.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 28th day of January, 2025.
