A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF 
AN 
AMENDMENT 
TO 
A 
MEMORANDUM 
OF 
UNDERSTANDING 
BETWEEN 
THE 
UNITED 
STATES 
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, 
TOBACCO, FIREARMS AND EXPLOSIVES AND THE 
GLENDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR PARTICIPATION 
IN 
THE 
ETRACE 
INTERNET 
BASED 
TRACING 
APPLICATION. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Department of 
Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for participation in the eTrace 
Internet Based Firearm Tracing Application and use of the Application Programming Interface 
eTRACE DIRECT. 
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Council authorizes and directs the City of Glendale Police 
Chief to execute all documents necessary to enter into the MOU on behalf of the City of Glendale.  
 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
