RESOLUTION NO. R25-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING TO AMEND THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. C24-1231 TO INCLUDE THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE AS A PARTNERING AGENCY IN THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE GLENDALE REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER. WHEREAS, the City and the City of Peoria, the City of Surprise, the City of Avondale and the Maricopa County Community College District have entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement No. C24-1231 for the operation and maintenance of the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center; and WHEREAS, the City of El Mirage Police Department desires to also participate as a Partnering Agency, and the current Partnering Agencies accept their participation. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That Intergovernmental Agreement No. C24-1231 be amended to include the City of El Mirage Police Department as a partnering agency. SECTION 2. That amendment be made in the accompanying Amendment No. 1 to include the El Mirage Police Department in the cost sharing provisions of section 3, and the shared governance provisions of sections 5, 6 and 7, all as set forth therein. SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into said Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the City of Glendale.
