RESOLUTION NO. R25-23 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF THE INTERSTATE COOPERATION CONTRACT FOR THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES COOPERATIVE CONTRACTS PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Information Resources Cooperative Contract Program allows members to use contracts entered into under Section 2157.068, Texas Government Code (the “Cooperative Contracts”), to purchase information technology commodity items in accordance with Section 2054.0565, Texas Government Code, and the terms of such Cooperative Contracts; and WHEREAS, Cooperative Contracts provide the City with competitive options and pricing for products and services; and WHEREAS, entering into the Interstate Cooperation Contract for the Texas Department of Information Resources Cooperative Contracts Program comes at no financial obligation to the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Glendale Innovation and Technology Department finds that entering into the Interstate Cooperation Contract for the Texas Department of Information Resources Cooperative Contracts Program is in the best interest of the City. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens thereof that the Interstate Cooperation Contract be entered into with the Texas Department of Information Resources Cooperative Contracts Program, which agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to enter into the Interstate Cooperation Contract on behalf of the City of Glendale.
