RESOLUTION NO. R25-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR A
GLENDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT MASS SHELTERING
SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, on August 12, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4176 New
Series, which authorized and directed the City Manager to enter into an Intergovernmental
Agreement, Contract No. HG861425, with the Arizona Department of Health Services for a
Glendale Fire Department Mass Sheltering System; and
WHEREAS, on December 8, 2015, the City Council again adopted Resolution No. 5048
New Series, which authorized and directed the City Manager to enter into an Intergovernmental
Agreement, Contract No. AGR2015-049, with the Arizona Department of Health Services for a
Glendale Fire Department Mass Sheltering System; and
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and Arizona Department of Health Services wish to enter
into another Intergovernmental Agreement, Contract No. CTR058481, for a Glendale Fire
Department Mass Sheltering System.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens
thereof that Intergovernmental Agreement Contract No. CTR058481 with Arizona Department of
Health Services for a Glendale Fire Department Mass Sheltering System be entered into, which
agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor or City Manager and the City Clerk be authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
