RESOLUTION NO. R25-51 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING 
AMENDMENT 
NO. 
1 
OF 
AN 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL 
AGREEMENT 
WITH 
THE 
ARIZONA 
DEPARTMENT 
OF 
CHILD 
SAFETY 
EXTENDING THE TERM ALLOWING THE CITY TO 
PROVIDE OFFICE AND CONFERENCE ROOM SPACE AT 
THE GLENDALE FAMILY ADVOCACY CENTER. 
 
 
WHEREAS, the City and the Arizona Department of Child Safety have entered into an 
Intergovernmental Agreement No. C22-0842 allowing the City to provide office and conference 
room space at the Glendale Family Advocacy Center for the purpose of investigations, and to 
provide integrated services to children and families in Arizona; and 
 
 
WHEREAS, the Arizona Department of Child Safety desires to continue the Agreement 
for an additional three (3) years. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the 
citizens that Amendment No. 1 of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of 
Glendale and the Arizona Department of Child Safety allowing the City to provide office and 
conference room space at the Glendale Family Advocacy Center be entered into, which 
agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute all documents necessary on behalf of the City of Glendale.
