Jefferson St, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003 E-mail: lori.medaris@maricopa.gov Re: Ocotillo Water Conservation District 2025 Election of Directors Dear Ms. Medaris, Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A), Ocotillo Water Conservation District (“OWCD”) hereby requests cancellation of its election of directors scheduled and noticed for November 12, 2025. OWCD has received timely nomination petitions and nomination papers from only one candidate, for a single at- large seat. That candidate is as follows: Andrew Basha—Director at Large Enclosed are copies of the referenced nomination petitions and nomination papers. OWCD respectfully requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the November 12, 2025 election, and appoint the above-named person to fill the one Director at Large seat for a three-year term commencing January 1, 2026.
