Jefferson St, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003 E-mail: medarisl@mail.maricopa.gov Re: Tonopah Irrigation District 2025 Election of Directors Dear Ms. Medaris, Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A), Tonopah Irrigation District (“TID”) hereby requests cancellation of its election of directors scheduled and noticed for November 12, 2025. TID has received timely nomination petitions and nomination papers from only three candidates—one for each of the three at large seats whose terms are expiring. Those candidates are the current incumbents, as follows: Andrew Van Sant K. C. Gingg Scott Van Sant Enclosed are copies of the referenced nomination petitions and nomination papers. TID respectfully requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the November 12, 2025 election, and appoint the above-named persons to fill the three director at large seats for three-year terms commencing January 1, 2026. Please let us know if you have any questions or need additional information to timely implement the requested cancellation and appointments. Thank you for your assistance.
