AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This AMENDMENT No. 1 to the Bustamante & Kuffner, P.C., CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES (“Contract”) executed July 1, 2017, is hereby made and entered into this 1st day of July, 2020
by and between the CITY OF EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA, an Arizona municipal corporation (“City”) and
BUSTAMANTE & KUFFNER, P.C., an Arizona corporation (“Consultant”), collectively (“the
Parties”)..
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant entered into a Contract for Code Enforcement/Zoning
Prosecutor Legal Services on an as needed basis, executed July 1, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the Contract is for a term of (3) years, beginning on the 1st day of July, 2017 and
ending on the 1st day of July, 2020. The Contract may be extended for an additional three-year term upon
agreement of the parties.
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant desire to amend the Contract to renew the term of the
Contract for an additional three-year term; and,
CONTRACT AMENDMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties, hereby agree as follows:
A.
The term of this Agreement shall be from the Effective Date through the 1st day of July,
2023.
B.
The Contract Administrator shall be assigned to Jorge Gastelum, P.E., Community
Development Director/City Engineer, or designee.
C.
Except as set forth, herein, the Contract for Professional Services shall remain as stated.
