Working with state contract vendors, motorcycle-certified department employees designed those motorcycles to meet our specifications. Total price, per unit, is $34,620.33, for a total of $69,240.66, which is just over $750 less than the approved amount. Attached please find the quote from Go AZ Motorcycles (State Contract Vendor ADSPO18- 205712). That quote covers not only the price of the motorcycles, but also all the upfits needed to make them ready for patrol use. Please know that the quote reflects pricing for 2020 models, which are rapidly aging out. Per the dealer, we may wind up with 2021 models. However, also per the dealer, they will honor any purchase order they receive, and guarantee that, no matter the model, the final price will not exceed $35,000 per unit, so our $70,000 budget cap will not be exceeded. With all of the quotes finalized, and with the total price being below the previously authorized budget threshold, we are ready to move forward with the purchase.
