D R A F T MINUTES BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT VIRTUAL MEETING 5850 W. GLENDALE AVE. GLENDALE, ARIZONA 85301 DECEMBER 8, 2022 4:00 P.M. 1. CALL TO ORDER The Meeting was called to order at approximatley 4:00 PM 2. ROLL CALL Present: Cathy Cheshier, Chair Brian Britton, Commissioner Tammy Gee, Commissioner Timothy Carson, Commissioner Absent: Benjamin Naber, Vice Chair Lawrence Feiner, Commissioner Also Present: Tabitha Perry, Planning Manager Russ Romney, Deputy City Attorney Kevin Kazmerski, Recording Secretary 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizens present, no comments made. 4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Ms. Cheshier requested a motion to approve the November 10, 2022, Minutes. Mr. Britton motioned to approve. Ms. Gee seconded. Ms. Cheshier called for a vote. All voted "AYE". Motion passed, 11/10/22 minutes approved. 5. OTHER BUSINESS a. Discussion and action for recommendations of the 2023 Chair and Vice Chair. Ms Cheshier stated that Mr. Naber had been nominated for Vice Chair and Herself (Ms. Cheshier) had been nominated as Chair. She asked if there was any further discussion. There was none. Ms. Cheshier asked for a motion to appoint Mr. Naber Vice Chair for 2023. Ms Gee motioned to appoint Mr. Naber Vice Chair. Mr Britton Seconded. Ms Cheshier called a vote All voted "Aye". Mr. Naber is voted Vice Chair for 2023. Ms. Cheshier asked for a motion to appoint herself as Chair for 2023. Ms. Gee motioned to appoint Ms Chesier Chair for 2023. Mr. Britton Seconded. Ms. Cheshier called a vote. All voted "Aye". Ms. Chesier is voted Chair for 2023. b. Discussion and action of the 2023 meeting schedule. Ms Chesier asked for discussion for the draft 2023 calendar. There was none. Ms Gee motioned to approve. Mr. Britton seconded. Ms. Cheshier called a vote. All voted "Aye". 2023 meeting calendar approved. 6. BOARD COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS Ms. Cheshier wished all a happy holiday. 7. NEXT MEETING The next regular meeting of the Board of Adjustment is scheduled for January 12, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., in conference room B3 of the Council Chambers Building, located at 5850 W. Glendale Ave, Glendale, Arizona, 85301. 8. ADJOURNMENT Ms. Gee motioned to adjourn. Mr. Britton seconded. Ms Cheshier called for a vote. All voted "Aye". Meeting adjourned at approximately 4:10pm.
