Glendale Family Bike Ride April 2, 2023 MARKETING 2 REGISTRATION 3 Online registration opened February 6. Riders also had the opportunity to register the day of the event. There were over 1,000 total registrants and approximately 630 participants. T-SHIRTS & BACKPACKS 4 Grey event t-shirts and high visibility drawstring backpacks were given to all riders. 5 All riders were required to wear a helmet on the ride. Riders could swap an old helmet for a new one or receive a new one if they did not have one. Over 100 helmets were fitted and given to riders at the event. HELMET SWAP EXHIBITORS & VENDORS Multiple city exhibitors and vendors were at the park providing information, services, and tasty treats to riders before and after the ride! BIKE CHECK STATIONS 7 DICK'S Sporting Goods and Gordy’s Bicycle Shop provided basic maintenance at no charge. WATER SERVICES 8 Free water and water bottles were provided by Glendale Water Services at the park and at all three rest stops. FUN AT THE PARK 9 10 Riders chose between three different routes: Short – 7 miles Long – 15 miles Extended – 23 miles THREE ROUTES 11 READY..SET..GO!!! 12 THE RIDE 13 There were three rest stops along the routes that provided water, snacks, and restrooms for the riders. All rest stops were staffed by volunteers and transportation employees. REST STOPS 14 BIKE RAFFLE - NEW 15 MEDALS - NEW 16 DEDICATED STAFF! 17 AMAZING VOLUNTEERS!
