John Kazmerski, Recording Secretary 1. CALL TO ORDER Ms. Cheshier called the meeting to order at 4:02 pm. 2. VAR24-02 - A variance request by Lynn Anderson, representing Federal Heath Sign Company, to increase the required maximum sign allowance for building signs in the Planned Area Development (PAD) district for property located at the southeast corner of Northern Parkway and 150th Avenue and in the Yucca District. Presented by Christina Lavelle, Senior Planner The Board Discussed the variance case. Ms. Cheshier opened the public hearing. There were no speakers. Ms. Cheshier closed the public hearing. 1. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were none. 6. STAFF REPORTS Ms. Perry discussed that staff will be asking the Planning Commission to initiate a text amendment as it relates to the criteria or findings for Board of Adjustment variances in the Unified Development Code(UDC). The criteria outlined in the UDC does not align with state statutes. 7. BOARD COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS Mr. Carson requested a copy of the Unified Development Code. Ms. Perry stated that staff would provide a digital copy to all the board members. 8. NEXT MEETING The next regular meeting of the Board of Adjustment is scheduled for May 09, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., in the boardroom of the Glendale Civic Center, located at 5750 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale, Arizona, 85301. 9.
