ROLL CALL Present: Diane Kocur, Chair Theresa Fowler, Vice Chair Cody Bro, Board Member Gary Johnson, Board Member Meegan Tosh, Board Member Thomas Varela, Board Member Absent: April Greer, Board Member Also Present:Dawn Ferro, Interim Chief Librarian Esther Peneff, Administrative Support Specialist 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS None. 4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES a. Library Advisory Board Minutes of April 10, 2024. Motioned by Board Member Cody Bro, seconded by Board Member Meegan Tosh to approve the April 10, 2024 Library Advisory Board minutes as written. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION: LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING DATE AND TIME Chief Librarian Ferro presented a review of the discussion from the last meeting. The board discussed the meeting date and time options. Motioned by Vice Chair Theresa Fowler, seconded by Board Member Gary Johnson to maintain the Library Advisory Board meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. INFORMATION: LIBRARY STATISTICS FOLLOW UP-CIRCULATION UTILIZATION AND FTE Chief Librarian Ferro presented library statistics to the board. 6. NEW BUSINESS a. INFORMATION: Library Organizational Chart Chief Librarian Ferro distributed the current library organizational chart and discussed with the board members. b. ACTION: FY24-25 LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE Board members reviewed the fiscal year 2024-2025. Motioned by Board Member Cody Bro, seconded by Board Member Meegan Tosh to have the Library Advisory Board retreat meeting on August 10, 2024. If Sahuaro Ranch is not available, then Dawn Ferro will choose the next available date of August 17th or August 31st. NEXT MEETING The next regular meeting of the Library Advisory Board will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.at Sahuaro Ranch, 9802 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85302. 10.
