Mail Ballot Election

Clerk of the Board:

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes § 16-558 (A), an irrigation district may conduct its board of directors’
election by mail ballot if the governing board of directors obtains approval from the board of supervisors of
the county in which the district is located, prior to publishing the call of election.

Queen Creek Irrigation District (QCID) hereby requests permission from the Maricopa County Board of
Supervisors to conduct mail ballot elections for the 2025 QCID election of directors, as well as all subsequent
elections until further notice from QCID.
