D R A F T MINUTES AVIATION ADVISORY COMMISSION GLENDALE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT 6801 N. GLEN HARBOR BLVD. GLENDALE, ARIZONA 85307 AIRPORT CONFERENCE ROOM APRIL 16, 2025 6:00 P.M. 1. CALL TO ORDER The Aviation Advisory Commission meeting was called to order at 6:12 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Chair Bud Zomok Commissioner Joshua Haislip Commissioner Larry Rovey Commissioner Quentin Tolby Commissioner Brett Grove Absent: Vice Chair Michael Portik Commissioner Bill Eikost Also Present: Julie Patterson, Management Assistant Jim Gum, Airport Operations Supervisor Attendees: Ashley St. John, Student from Public Policy class 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizen comments. 4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Approval of the Aviation Advisory Commission Minutes of February 19, 2025. Motioned by Commissioner Brett Grove, seconded by Commissioner Larry Rovey AYE: Chair Bud Zomok Commissioner Joshua Haislip Commissioner Larry Rovey Commissioner Quentin Tolby Commissioner Brett Grove Other: Vice Chair Michael Portik (ABSENT) Commissioner Bill Eikost (ABSENT) Passed 5. AIRPORT BUSINESS There were no updates given. 6. STAFF REPORTS There were no updates given. 7. LUKE AIR FORCE BASE OPERATIONS Luke Air Force representative was not present. 8. COMMISSION COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS Commissioner Tolby had breakfast with his new Council Member, Lupe Conchas to get acquainted. He asked the council member if he had an airport tour and was informed that he had. Commissioner Tolby suggests each commissioner get acquainted with their council member. Commissioner Rovey commented he would like to be present if his Council Member, Dianna Guzman takes an airport tour. 9. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS There were no future agenda items. 10. NEXT MEETING The next regular meeting of the Aviation Advisory Commission will be held on May 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., in the conference room on the second floor of the Airport terminal building, 6801 N. Glen Harbor Blvd., Glendale, Arizona, 85307. 11.
