CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Nancy Lenox called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM 2. CITIZEN COMMENTS No Citizen Comments. 4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES a. Action: Arts Commission Minutes of May 20, 2025. MOTION: To approve the Arts Commission minutes of May 20, 2025 Motioned by Commissioner Anne Marie Chaney, seconded by Commissioner Lizbeth Feria. NEW BUSINESS a. Action: Recommendation of Performing Arts Grant allocation of funds to applicants. Chris Taylor provided a recap of the applicants for the FY 2025-2026 Performing Arts Grants, and fielded questions from the Commissioners as they deliberated on the applications. MOTION: To approve $4,000 in grant funds to 2026 Showcase Festival. Motioned by Vice Chair Nancy Lenox, seconded by Commissioner Anne Marie Chaney. Chris Taylor asked the Commission for any input from the May 20, 2025 Arts Commission meeting on a potential collaborative project involving the West Valley Arts Council and City of Glendale employees.
