APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
 
a.
Commission on Diverse Cultures Minutes of December 10, 2025.
  
 
5.
New Business
 
a.
Continued discussion of the Strategic Plan, which included a SWOT Analysis (strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats). 
 
b.
Continued discussion of Vision and Mission Statement which includes goals that may be
subject to change. 
 
c.
Continued discussion of Potential Name Change due to the current political climate in an effort
to be more engaging.

d.
Glendale Live! Events partnership dates - Commission is considering dates in March 2026. 
 
e.
Discussion of 2025 Board & Commission Member Survey - Commissioners provided feedback
on survey results. Feedback will be shared with the City Clerks' Office. 
 
6.
STAFF REPORTS
 
a.
This report allows the Staff to update the Commission. The Commission is prohibited from
discussing or acting on any of the items presented by the Staff since they are not itemized on
the Commission on Diverse Cultures agenda. 
 
7.
COMMISSION COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS - Commissioners would like additional
vacancies be filled by members who are committed to serving on the Commission. 
 
8.
NEXT MEETING
The next regular meeting of the Commission on Diverse Cultures will be held on January 14,
2026 at 6:00 p.m., at the Glendale Adult Center, 5970 W. Brown St., Room 104, Glendale, AZ,
85302.
 
9.
