low.

compared to 72% last year at 
the same time.
• More SRP groundwater added to 
the system to compensate for 
reduced flows.

Landscape Rebate History
➢1986 – Council approved a $100 landscape rebate for 
residential customers
➢2005 – Council approved updates to the landscape 
rebate:
1. Increased rebate amount for residential customers 
2. Created a new rebate for non-residential customers
➢2023 – Council approved funding to expand the water 
conservation rebate program

International Code Council:

➢International Plumbing Code
➢Last code adoption occurred in 2019 with the 2018 
Building and Fire Codes
➢Glendale typically adopts updated codes every 6 years 
(every other code cycle).

early 2025
➢City published draft amendments and gathered public input in 
May 2025
➢Presented proposed code adoption to City Council at 8/28/25 
workshop
➢Ratification of Code Adoption Ordinance by City Council at 
12/9/25 voting meeting
➢All plans submitted after 7/9/2026 must comply with the 
2024 Building Codes, Fire Code and amendments.
