This past year, however, has been an exceptionally difficult time for me. Earlier this year, my young grandson passed away in a tragic swimming pool accident. Only recently have I been able to come to terms with just how severely the loss of my grandson has negatively affected by temperament and drained my emotional reserves. After carefully considering my current life status, I have decided to retire. As a result, effective at the end of business on November 30, 2022, | hereby resign my position as an elected Justice of the Peace in Maricopa County. Sincerely Samuel T. Goodman
