Extinguishment of Easement 
 
This Extinguishment of Easement is being recorded by Maricopa County, a political 
subdivision of the State of Arizona (“County”). 
WHEREAS, County is the named Grantee of a certain Utility Easement dated February 23, 
1977 and recorded on March 11, 1977 in Docket 12113, Page 719 of the Official Records of 
Maricopa County, Arizona; and 
WHEREAS, said Utility Easement was granted to County to construct, reconstruct and 
maintain sewer line facilities; and 
WHEREAS, County has never made use of the rights and privileges granted to it by said 
Utility Easement; and 
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of County did, in open session on December 7, 2022 
determine that the County has neither present nor future need for the rights and privileges granted 
by said Utility Easement. 
NOW THEREFORE, to relieve the County of any obligations that may exist due to the 
existence of said Utility Easement and for the benefit of the citizens of Maricopa County, the 
County does, without reservation of any nature, surrender, terminate and extinguish in perpetuity 
any and all rights and obligation granted to the County as set forth in said Utility Easement, leaving 
the property burdened by said Utility Easement no longer encumbered thereby.
