Contract No. C-22-22-062-X-02 Amendment No. 1 Page 1 of 2 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTERED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND CITY OF CHANDLER I. Maricopa County (“County or “Subrecipient”), administered by its Human Services Department, and the City of Chandler (“City”), entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”), which was fully executed on or about February 28, 2022, for the term of December 6, 2021, through June 30, 2024. The Agreement is for the City to provide the County with U.S. Department of Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance, Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 21.023, for the provision of ERA 1.0 and ERA 2.0 rental and utility assistance services to City of Chandler and its unincorporated areas residents that have been impacted by the COVID pandemic. The City and the County collectively are referred to as the “Parties” and individually as the “Party.” II. The Parties agree to enter into this Amendment No. 1 to amend the Agreement as follows: A. Decrease the Agreement amount from $13,150,000 to $12,480,329. B. Revise paragraph 6.0 (Funding), to address the following: 1. 6.1 remove in its entirety and replace with: The City shall provide Subrecipient with $7,523,750 in Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 21.023, Emergency Rental Assistance 1.0 (ERA 1.0) funds provided to the City through the U.S. Department of Treasury. 2. 6.2 remove in its entirety and replace with: The City shall provide the Subrecipient with $4,956,579 in Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 21.023, American Rescue Plan Act Rental Assistance 2.0 (ERA 2.0) funds provided to the City through the U.S. Department of Treasury. 3. 6.3.1 remove in its entirety and replace with: A minimum of $6,861,343. ERA 1.0 funds to be spent to provide rental and utility assistance to eligible residents. 4. 6.3.2 remove in its entirety and replace with: A maximum amount of $662,407 ERA 1.0 funds to be spent for administrative costs . Any portion may be spent for direct assistance. 5. 6.3.3 remove in its entirety and replace with: A minimum of $4,554,694 ERA 2.0 funds to be spent to provide rental and utility assistance to eligible residents. 6. Add 6.3.4 subparagraph to the Agreement: A maximum amount of $401,885 ERA 2.0 funds to be spent for administrative costs. Any portion may be spent for direct assistance. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. IV. The Parties have authorized the undersigned to execute this Amendment No. 1 on their behalf. V. This Amendment No. 1 shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties.
