AT A GLANCE
On January 1, 2022, the
Travel Reduction Program
(TRP) adopted the new
Standard Travel Reduction
Plan (plan) template. The
plan decreased from four
pages to one page and
added check boxes for
quick and convenient
selection of measures.
TRP implemented a plan review
and monitoring process that
improves efficiency and saves
time for Transportation
Coordinators. This process meets
the requirements of the Arizona
Revised Statute § 49-581 et seq.
and the Maricopa County
Ordinance P-7, while removing
burdensome obligations.
During the June 7, 2022,
public meeting, TRP
received approval for the
Employer Exemption
Application from the TRP
Regional Task Force. The
application streamlines
the exemption process and
clarifies documentation
expectations.
