 Subrecipient Agreement Between 
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office  
And 
Arizona State University 
(C-50-24-013-X-01) 
The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the Period of Performance of the Subrecipient Agreement 
between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Arizona State University.   
RECITALS 
WHEREAS, MCSO is the recipient of the referenced award from the Arizona Department of Emergency 
and Military Affairs (DEMA), Anti Human Trafficking Grant (Prime Award reference M23-0021) for 
support of a sponsored research project entitled Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, FY 2023 Anti Human 
Trafficking Grant Fund Program. This was approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 26, 2023 (C-50-
23-170-X-00). 
WHEREAS, MCSO entered into a Subrecipient Agreement with Arizona State University that was 
approved by the Board of Supervisors on August 23, 2023 (C-50-24-013-X-00).  
WHEREAS, MCSO desires to fund research to be performed by Arizona State University as described in 
the scope of work attached to the original subgrantee agreement as Exhibit A (the “Project”), and 
Arizona State University desires to conduct such work, the Project undertaken is of mutual interest to 
MCSO and Arizona State University.   
AGREEMENT 
NOW, THEREFORE, both Parties of the Agreement hereby agree as follows: 
1.
The Period of Performance, of the Subrecipient Agreement to extend the expiration
date to December 31, 2026.
Except as provided herein, all other Terms and Conditions of original Agreement will remain in full force 
and effect.

Subrecipient DETERMINATION – ASU/Subrecipient 
This Subrecipient Agreement amendment, which is an agreement between public agencies, has been 
reviewed pursuant to A.R.S. 11-952 by the undersigned, who has determined that it is in the proper form 
and is within the power and authority granted under the laws of the State of Arizona to those parties to 
the Agreement presented by Legal Counsel for Arizona State University.
