ERA Voluntary Reallocation Approval
Dear ERA1 Recipient: 
 
The U.S. Department of the Treasury (“Treasury”) issued Reallocation Guidance for the Emergency Rental 
Assistance (ERA1) program under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, on October 4, 2021.  Your 
jurisdiction requested to receive funds being reallocated by another grantee in your state.  This letter is to notify 
you that Treasury approved your request.  After Treasury receives the funds from the transferring entity, 
you will receive instructions on how to receive the funds. 
 
Please note that if you requested reallocated funds in excess of the amount being transferred to you by the 
transferring entity in your state, Treasury will consider your request for the additional amount separately and 
will provide additional information regarding whether that request is approved.
