PUBLIC NOTICE
MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA
PROPOSED TONKA VISTA IRRIGATION WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, Arizona, 
on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 9:30 a.m., in the Supervisors’ Auditorium, 205 W. Jefferson, Phoenix 85003, on formation petitions 
submitted to the Board for the proposed Tonka Vista Irrigation Water Delivery District in Supervisorial District 3.  At the hearing, any 
landowner within the proposed district may appear and object to the organization thereof or to the proposed boundaries thereof or to 
the inclusion of his land therein. The Board will hear and consider all comments in favor and against the organization of the district 
and decide whether to approve or reject the organization of the district with the boundaries proposed in the petition or with modified 
boundaries.
SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT FORMATION PETITIONS 
TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA COUNTY
in the matter of the petitions for the formation of 
Tonka Vista Irrigation Water Delivery District
Property owners of Maricopa County, State of Arizona and owning property within the boundaries as illustrated and generally 
described below, have filed petitions with the County Board of Supervisors to create an irrigation water delivery district. 
The South 35.50 Feet of Lot 1, and Lots 11 through 44, of TONKA VISTA, a Subdivision of the South half of the South half of the 
Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 2 
North, Range 3 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County 
Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 52 of Maps, Page 27; 
TOGETHER WITH
That part of the West 20 feet of 20th Street, as shown on and dedicated by TONKA VISTA, according to the Plat of Record in the 
Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 52 of Maps, Page 27; lying between the North line 
of the South 12.5 feet of Lot 25 of said TONKA VISTA and the North line of the South 172.5 feet of said Lot 25; EXCEPT that part 
of said South 20 feet described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said West 20 feet, Thence Westerly along the 
South line of said West 20 feet a distance of 10 feet, Thence Northeasterly to a point in the East line of said West 20 feet which 
bears 10 feet North of the POINT OF BEGINNING, Thence Southerly along said East line a distance of 10 feet to the POINT OF 
BEGINNING; as abandoned by RESOLUTION NO. 20735 of the City of Phoenix, recorded at 2008-0957665, records of Maricopa 
County, Arizona.
TOGETHER WITH
Lots 45 through 92, of TONKA VISTA UNIT TWO, a Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, 
Township 2 North, Range 3 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the 
County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 59 of Maps, Page 6; 
The following three landowners within the district, Steve Caprara, Leslie Kland, and Eddie Demosthenes shall constitute the 
committee to file the petitions with the Board of Supervisors and represent the petitioners in the organization of the district. 
 
This land is included within the boundaries of the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, The Salt River 
Valley Water Users' Association, (collectively referred to as "SRP") and the City of Phoenix and they have consented to the 
formation of this district. 
The signed petitions, impact statement and exhibits referenced are on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at 301 
W. Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix 85003, and can be viewed online at https://www.maricopa.gov/745/Special-Taxing-Districts. 
All persons wishing to appear for or against the formation of the district are directed to attend the hearing or file with the Clerk a
