RESOLUTION NO. R26-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF A BHHS LEGACY FOUNDATION GRANT AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF THE GRANT AWARD IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $57,195.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF INDIVIDUAL FIRST AID KITS FOR GLENDALE POLICE OFFICERS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes the City Manager to enter into a Grant Acceptance Agreement with the BHHS Legacy Foundation and accept the grant award, in the approximate amount of $57,195.00, for the purchase of individual first aid kits for City of Glendale patrol-based police officers. The contract is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of the grant award for the Glendale Police Department to purchase individual first aid kits. Section 3. That the City Manager or designee is authorized and directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into the contract and for the acceptance and expenditure of the grant award on behalf of the City of Glendale.
