RESOLUTION NO. R26-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, RATIFYING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT M23-0034 WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY AND MILITARY AFFAIRS; APPROVING SCOPE MODIFICATIONS, EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT TERM, AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACTUAL ARRANGEMENTS WITH A CONTRACTOR FOR OUTREACH AND TRAINING SERVICES UNDER THE FY 2023 ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING GRANT PROGRAM. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and authorizes the City Manager to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Agreement M23-0034 with the State of Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs. Amendment No. 1 modifies the scope of purchasing approved under existing grant funds, extends the agreement term to June 30, 2027, and authorizes the selection of a new vendor. The agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. SECTION 2. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and authorizes the City Manager to enter into contractual arrangements with a vendor, to be selected, for outreach, training, and public awareness services required by the FY 2023 Anti-Human Trafficking Grant Program. This action replaces the prior Memorandum of Understanding with the Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network, and the updated contractual documentation shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary on behalf of the City of Glendale. (Signatures on following page.)
