RESOLUTION NO. R26-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT AND EXECUTE THE AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT GRANT (GRANT NO. E6M4H01D) FROM THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (ADOT). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and its citizens that the City accept Grant No. E6M4H01D offered by the Arizona Department of Transportation for projects described as “Reconstruct Airfield Signage/Markings, Reconstruct Runway Visual Guidance System 01/19, Rehabilitate Runway Lighting 01/19, and Rehabilitate Taxiway Lighting A.” SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and deliver the related grant agreement, as well as any other documents necessary to effectuate the receipt of the grant, on behalf of the City of Glendale.
