RESOLUTION NO. R26-44 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, ENTERING 
INTO AN AGREEMENT TO ACCEPT AND EXPEND FUNDS 
FROM THE FY2026 CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR 
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT GRANT AWARD FROM THE 
MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS IN THE 
APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $365,929 FOR THE PURCHASE 
OF ONE PM-10 CERTIFIED STREET SWEEPER. 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale requested one PM-10 certified street sweeper which was 
approved for FY2026 in an amount not to exceed $365,929; and  
 
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale has agreed to provide a 5.7% cash match and to purchase 
the street sweeper no later than March 26, 2027. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes the City Manager 
to accept and expend funds awarded by the Maricopa Association of Governments for the 
FY2026 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement grant award in the approximate 
amount of $365,929 for the purchase of one PM-10 certified street sweeper. Said Agreement is 
now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed 
to execute and deliver such agreement and for the acceptance and expenditure of said grant on 
behalf of the City of Glendale. 
 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
